We've finally made it to Super Bowl LIX, and there couldn't be a better matchup on tap for this game. The Chiefs and the Eagles have been the creme of the crop all season long in their respective conferences and now we get a rematch from two years ago. This game has a little bit of a different feel to it with the Chiefs looking to become the first team in the modern era to win three consecutive Super Bowl championships. The Eagles have something to say about that and won't want to be on the wrong side of history, so let's dive into the game pick.

Philadelphia Eagles (17-3) vs Kansas City Chiefs (17-2)

This is an intriguing matchup compared to two years ago, mainly because both defenses are better heading into this game. In the second half of the season, there wasn't a more stifling defense than the Chiefs (save for maybe the Chargers) and they will have to find a way to slow down the lifeline of the Eagles' offense, Saquon Barkley. The impressive thing about Barkley is that he seemed to pick up steam in the second half of games all season long, so if the Chiefs manage to keep him at bay in the first half, it will be the 3rd and 4th quarter that matter the most.

Neither quarterback forces the ball into traffic, so whichever team comes out on top in the turnover battle could be hoisting the Lombardi trophy when all is said and done. Despite some stellar defensive players, I do lean towards the over in this game just like it was two years ago. The Eagles can beat you in so many ways on offense, but this really comes down to coaching for me and I'll lean towards Andy Reid and his staff here to exploit a mismatch and pull it out late. Pick: Chiefs, 30-27.
