Week 7 NFL Picks

The parody in this league is unmatched right now as we have no undefeated teams remaining heading into Week 7. The conference leaders have emerged from unlikely places -- Indianapolis and Tampa Bay -- and Baker Mayfield seemingly leads the way in the MVP conversation. We're ready for another action packed week, so let's dive into the Week 7 game picks.

**All betting lines from bet365.com** (Updated Oct. 19)

Pittsburgh Steelers (4-1) @ Cincinnati Bengals (2-4)

The Steelers have lost five straight to the Bengals on the road in primetime, so this game smells a bit funky to open the week. Adding to that, Mike Tomlin questioned the Browns' decision to trade Joe Flacco to the Bengals during a presser, which leads me to think the long-time Steelers coach believe he has plenty left in the tank. Pick: Steelers, 27-24.

Line: Steelers -5.5

ML: Steelers

Spread: Bengals

Los Angeles Rams (4-2) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2)

Another installment of the stadium series in England, where the Jags have made it like a true home game having played there every year since the NFL initiated this. The Rams will be without their top target in Puka Nacua, which adds a little pressure to Matthew Stafford in the pocket, so I'd like to see them utilize Kyren Williams a little bit more. Pick: Rams, 27-21.

Line: Rams -3

ML: Rams

Spread: Rams

New Orleans Saints (1-5) @ Chicago Bears (3-2)

There seems to be this passive aggressive tension between the two quarterbacks that will start this game, which adds a little bit of flare to what could be an underwhelming matchup. Has Ben Johnson started to find his groove with this offense and can Caleb Williams continue progressing each week? Pick: Bears, 24-17.

Line: Bears -4

ML: Bears

Spread: Bears

Miami Dolphins (1-5) @ Cleveland Browns (1-5)

The Browns were anticipated to be a bottom feeder this season, but the Dolphins not so much. There seems to be disarray in that locker room and Mike McDaniel may have lost his grip on the team. Give me the Browns at home here in what could be the lowest scoring game of the weekend. Pick: Browns, 19-16.

Line: Browns -2.5

ML: Browns

Spread: Browns

Las Vegas Raiders (2-4) @ Kansas City Chiefs (3-3)

Even though they're sitting at .500 it feels like the Chiefs could still be the best team in the NFL right now (no offense to Lions fans). They had a tough loss two weeks ago on the road in Jacksonville, but they've been in a lot of one score games and I think they continue to roll here against the Raiders. Pick: Chiefs, 31-17.

Line: Chiefs -12

ML: Chiefs

Spread: Chiefs

Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) @ Minnesota Vikings (3-2)

The Vikings will be rolling with Carson Wentz again in this game and purely from a gut instinct perspective, it feels like the Eagles won't lose three games in a row. Keep it simple, get Saquon Barkley involved early and often to come out of here with a tough road win. Pick: Eagles, 24-20.

Line: Eagles -1.5

ML: Eagles

Spread: Eagles

Carolina Panthers (3-3) @ New York Jets (0-6)

The Panthers' offense looked great last week albeit against a struggling Cowboys' defense, but I'm not going to take credit away from Bryce Young. There are not many wins on the schedule in the second half of the season for this Jets team, but this feels like a spot where they could surprise and get on the board. Pick: Jets, 26-23.

Line: Panthers -1

ML: Jets

Spread: Jets

New England Patriots (4-2) @ Tennessee Titans (1-5)

This is a bit of a coming home game for Pats coach Mike Vrabel who once led the Titans to a playoff win over Tom Brady. Now, his team is looking to stay atop the AFC East with a road win here and the young upstart Pats have bought into their coach's hard nosed mentality. Pick: Patriots, 24-16.

Line: Patriots -7

ML: Patriots

Spread: Patriots

New York Giants (2-4) @ Denver Broncos (4-2)

The Broncos will be paying tribute to the late Demaryius Thomas has he enters into their Ring of Honor prior to this game. With Jaxson Dart making his first start on the road at Mile High, will the elements be too much for him like it has for several rookies before him? Pick: Broncos, 27-17.

Line: Broncos -7.5

ML: Broncos

Spread: Broncos

Indianapolis Colts (5-1) @ Los Angeles Chargers (4-2)

This is a big game for the AFC playoff picture as a win for the Chargers could launch them into the top seed in the conference. "Danny Dimes" has been playing fantastic football for the Colts and Shane Steichen has to feel confident in what he's seen so far, but I like the Chargers to come away with a gritty win at home here. Pick: Chargers, 24-21.

Line: Chargers -2

ML: Chargers

Spread: Chargers

Green Bay Packers (3-1-1) @ Arizona Cardinals (2-4)

A quick note heading into this game that could play a factor as the Packers were experiencing flight delays into Arizona and only arrived the night before the game. Not sure how much of a factor that will play here, but we do know Josh Jacobs is a true game-time decision as he will test things in warmups. Pick: Packers, 23-20.

Line: Packers -7

ML: Packers

Spread: Packers

Washington Commanders (3-3) @ Dallas Cowboys (2-3-1)

The Commanders opened this game as favorites and will now be without three of their key wideouts for this game. Despite the Cowboys' struggles defensively this season, I think the offense will do enough to come away with an important divisional win here. Pick: Cowboys, 30-27.

Line: Cowboys -1.5

ML: Cowboys

Spread: Cowboys

Atlanta Falcons (3-2) @ San Francisco 49ers (4-2)

The Niners have been the most resilient team of the year so far with a next man up type of mentality. They will once again be without Brock Purdy for this game, but a lift for their offense comes in the return of George Kittle in the lineup. Pick: 49ers, 23-20.

Line: 49ers -2

ML: 49ers

Spread: 49ers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-1) @ Detroit Lions (4-2)

Despite the loss to the Chiefs last week, I think this Lions team is still the cream of the crop in the NFC. They'll be at home this week to a banged up Bucs team -- Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin have been ruled out -- but, they will need a big defensive effort against the red hot Baker Mayfield. Pick: Lions, 27-20.

Line: Lions -6

ML: Lions

Spread: Lions

Houston Texans (2-3) @ Seattle Seahawks (4-2)

The Texans have won two in a row as they look to climb back in the AFC South race. Their defense has been the standard so far this year, but it will be a tough test against a Seahawks offense that is clicking. Pick: Seahawks, 24-20.

Line: Seahawks -3

ML: Seahawks

Spread: Seahawks
