Minnesota Vikings (3-3) @ Los Angeles Chargers (4-3)
The Chargers have lost three of their last four games after a hot start with three divisional wins. Now, they will look to take advantage of a reeling Vikings team that seemingly misses J.J. McCarthy under center and look to get back to playing that physical brand of football that coach Jim Harbaugh covets. Pick: Chargers, 24-16.
Line: Chargers -2.5
ML: Chargers
Spread: Chargers
Miami Dolphins (1-6) @ Atlanta Falcons (3-3)
The Dolphins are in complete disarray under the guidance of Mike McDaniel and although the front office has come out in his support, it has to be a matter of time before a move is made on the sideline. The Falcons will start Kirk Cousins for this game and the wily veteran will look to get them back in the division race. Pick: Falcons, 24-20.
Line: Falcons -7
ML: Falcons
Spread: Dolphins
Chicago Bears (4-2) @ Baltimore Ravens (1-5)
There was anticipation that Lamar Jackson might be healthy enough to start this game, but it looks like the former MVP will sit one more week before making his return to the lineup. That being said, this game reeks of a trap for the Bears who have been riding a four-game win streak and we'll see if Derrick Henry will be the difference. Pick: Ravens, 24-21.
Line: Ravens -2.5
ML: Ravens
Spread: Ravens
Buffalo Bills (4-2) @ Carolina Panthers (4-3)
The Bills head into this game with back-to-back losses and need to find their groove again. Sean McDermott will see some familiar faces in Carolina once again and will he be able to get his defense to show up with a better performance? Pick: Bills, 26-17.
Line: Bills -7
ML: Bills
Spread: Bills
New York Jets (0-7) @ Cincinnati Bengals (3-4)
The Jets are the lone winless team remaining heading into Week 8 and things got a little spicy at the podium between head coach Aaron Glenn and the media this week. Troubles seem to be brewing with the front office calling out Justin Fields and perhaps the patience is wearing thin already from the execs. Pick: Bengals, 26-19.
Line: Bengals -6
ML: Bengals
Spread: Bengals
San Francisco 49ers (5-2) @ Houston Texans (2-4)
Originally, I liked the Texans to win this game until I saw that they would be without Nico Collins for this game. And, I've picked against Mac Jones a couple times this season and he's answered the bell, so don't sleep on his ability to manage this game. Pick: 49ers, 23-20.
Line: Texans -2.5
ML: 49ers
Spread: 49ers
Cleveland Browns (2-5) @ New England Patriots (5-2)
The Pats are another team that is red hot, now winners of four straight and with the AFC East division lead. This game will come down to the line of scrimmage with the Browns playing a tough brand of football up front, led by Myles Garrett. Pick: Patriots, 24-16.
Line: Patriots -7
ML: Patriots
Spread: Patriots
New York Giants (2-5) @ Philadelphia Eagles (5-2)
The Giants stunned the Eagles just a couple of weeks ago in a Thursday night matchup and I would think they will be hard pressed to pull off the season sweep. The recipe is simple for the Eagles, give the ball to Saquon Barkley, who is your biggest gamebreaker. Pick: Eagles, 30-20.
Line: Eagles -7.5
ML: Eagles
Spread: Eagles
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-2) @ New Orleans Saints (1-6)
The Bucs are banged up and will be without Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Bucky Irving for this game. Despite that, I still like Baker Mayfield to continue elevating his game to an MVP level and find a way to have this team grind out a tough divisional road win. Pick: Buccaneers, 23-17.
Line: Buccaneers -3.5
ML: Buccaneers
Spread: Buccaneers
Dallas Cowboys (3-3-1) @ Denver Broncos (5-2)
This is a pivotal game for the Cowboys and will tell us all we need to know about this team and if they have playoff potential or not. The offense has been operating at a high level and they will need something more from their defense to keep them afloat in this game. Pick: Cowboys, 29-26.
Line: Broncos -3.5
ML: Cowboys
Spread: Cowboys
Tennessee Titans (1-6) @ Indianapolis Colts (6-1)
The Colts have been the surprise team of the first half of the season, jumping out to a commanding AFC South lead. We can't say enough about the resurgence of Daniel Jones since being named the starter out of training camp and Jonathan Taylor will look to build on his league-leading 11 touchdowns. Pick: Colts, 28-17.
Line: Colts -14.5
ML: Colts
Spread: Colts
Green Bay Packers (4-1-1) @ Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2)
This is a great Sunday night matchup pitting Aaron Rodgers against his former team and to date, the Packers are the only team he has not beat in his career. I think the Steelers's defense will rise to the occasion here and great enough pressure on Jordan Love to stabilize their offensive attack. Pick: Steelers, 26-23.
Line: Packers -3
ML: Steelers
Spread: Steelers
Washington Commanders (3-4) @ Kansas City Chiefs (4-3)
The Commanders ruled out Jayden Daniels for this matchup, so it will be on Marcus Mariota to try and steer them in the direction of a tough road win. The Chiefs seem to be finding their stride, riding a three-game win streak and I think they control this game with ease. Pick: Chiefs, 34-20.
Line: Chiefs -11.5
ML: Chiefs
Spread: Chiefs
